Day 1: Arrival in Lima

Day 2: Chiclayo
• Lima: Transfer from the hotel to the airport
• Flight from Lima to Chiclayo
• Pick up from the
airport in Chiclayo
and transfer to the
hotel
• Visit the museum
«Tumbas Reales del
Señor de Sipán»
(modern and
impressive museum
of the chimu
culture), Sipán and
Zaña
• Overnight in
Chiclayo
Day 3: Chiclayo
• Trip to the surrounding areas of Chiclayo
(Sicán, Batán Grande, Túcume)
• Overnight in
Chiclayo
Day 4: from Chiclayo to Pomacochas
• We drive with 4x4
car from Chiclayo
first through the coast desert, then going up the
Andes reaching the Porculla pass (at 2145 m),
finally through the Marañon valley to the
Pomacochas lake
• Overnight in Pomacochas
Day 5: Kuelap, Chachapoyas
• By car from
Pomacochas to
Kuelap
• Guided tour to
the fortress of
Kuelap
• Visit the city of Chachapoyas
• Overnight in
Chachapoyas
Day 6: Levanto and Yalape
• Trip to Levanto and
Yalape
• Overnight in
Pomacochas
Day 7: Moyobamba, Lamas, Tarapoto
• By car from Pomacochas to Tarapoto. On the
way we visit the cities of Moyobamba and Lamas,
the center of
folklore of the
region
• Dinner
• Overnight in
Tarapoto, Puerto
Palmeras Resort
Day 8: Ecological Reserve of Lago Lindo
• By car south
through the
«marginal road» to
Puerto López,
where we croos the
Huallaga river on a
raft
• We continue by car to Limoncocha lake,
where we begin walking for aprox. 45 minutes
until we reach the Lago Lindo lake
• Lunch
• Free afternoon
for you to enjoy the
nature of this
reserve, you can
observe birds, swim
or take a boat at
the lake and watch the sunset in the
jungle
• Dinner
• Overnight in Lago
Lindo
Day 9: Laguna Azuyl, Ahuashiyaku
• Small walk from Lago Lindo lake to the Laguna
Azul lake (aprox. 15 minutes)
• We cross the lake
on a boat
• Back to Tarapoto
by car
• Lunch at Puerto
Palmeras Resort
• Trip to the
waterfall of
Ahuashiyaku (where you can also swim)
• Dinner
• Overnight in Puerto Palmeras Resort
Day 10: Back to Lima
• Transfer to the airport in Tarapoto
• Flight from Tarapoto to Lima
• Transfer from the airport in Lima to the hotel
• Overnight in Lima
Day 11: Lima
• An optional city tour in Lima depending on your flight schedule
• Transfer from the hotel to the airport Time to travel
