Northern
Beaches
The beaches in the Northern Peru are considered the most beautiful on the Peruvian coast line. While the Humboldt stream brings the cold temperature to the Southern beaches, in the North the water has a pleasant temperature (aprox. 25ºC) during the whole year. The climate is warm and sunny in any season of the year as they are located closely to the Ecuatorial line. Showers are rarely in this region. Here are the ideal conditions for those visitors who love the beach.
Some of these tropical beaches have restaurants and lodging for all kind of visitors, inviting to enjoy and take a rest in this paradise of the Peruvian coast line. Mancora and Punta Sal are the most visited beaches.
You can enjoy the sun and the beach, but there are some other activities to do like visiting the special ecosystem created by the mangrove plantations of Tumbes or for example fishing on the sea like Ernst Hemingway did in this place some time.
