Maras and Moray
1
day – Begin: daily
Over a huge plateau near the Urubamba Valley is located Moray, a unique
archeological site with enormous circular terraces build on the natural
depressions of the ground. They where used as a prototype of a
greenhouse or experimental agricultural station, very advanced for its
age.

Near there is Maras, the famous «Inca Salt Mines», with about 3000 small
pools constructed in the slope of a mountain. People still use the same
extracting methods as 500 years ago.
You can make this tour in private group with bike or car.
